Florentino Perez says nobody has any doubts over the fact that Karim Benzema will win this year’s Ballon d’Or.

Benzema is the favorite to win the prestigious award thanks to his hugely impressive form at Real Madrid in the last year.

His performances have already earned him the UEFA Player of the Year award and Perez is confident the Frenchman will follow that up with a first Ballon d’Or.

Benzema has already received the UEFA Player of the Year award and will be awarded the Ballon d’Or in the coming days. No one doubts it,” said the president of Mundo Deportivo.

Last season couldn’t have gone much better for Real Madrid as the club comfortably won the league and beat Liverpool in the Champions League final.

Many of the club’s staff have now won both of those trophies multiple times, but Perez says they will not be satisfied.

“From a sporting point of view, we had unforgettable matches last season that reflected Madrid’s DNA, which fought until the end. We beat PSG, Chelsea and Manchester City. I would also like to congratulate Liverpool on their great performance,” he added.

“I would also like to thank our players, the legends and some of them who have already won five Champions League titles.

“We have the team to keep dreaming of all the challenges ahead. Real Madrid does not allow complacency or relaxation. After winning the European Super Cup, we won every game we played, the only club in the top five leagues to do so. This is the way forward.”
