Inter Miami to offer Man Utd’s Ronaldo £30m-a-year deal

Cristiano Ronaldo may have a way out of Old Trafford, with Phil Neville’s MLS club Inter Miami interested in a January move.

Cristiano Ronaldo’s future at Manchester United remains uncertain after he reportedly tried to leave in the offseason.

The Portuguese giant has been trying to break into United’s starting XI in the Premier League this season.

And Ronaldo cut a frustrated figure in United’s 3-2 win over Omonia Nicosia in the Europa League on Thursday.

David Beckham-owned MLS club Inter Miami are set to offer Cristiano Ronaldo a move away from Manchester United in a £30million-a-year deal, according to The Daily Star.

Ronaldo, who has been a regular in Florida, could be on the move in January, with Miami’s Phil Neville looking to replace Gonzalo Higuain, who announced his retirement last week.

One stumbling block, however, is that the deal is conditional on Ronaldo joining Inter on a free transfer, with United – who insisted on a fee when clubs inquired last transfer window – seemingly content to keep him for now.
