Chelsea’s long-held interest in Neymar is starting to develop with owner Todd Boehly discussing conditions for an off-season transfer.
Neymar is contracted with Paris Saint-Germain until 2025 but the French champions have reportedly transfer listed him.
The Brazilian striker is believed to be worth around €36 million a year.
Neymar has scored 12 goals in 19 Ligue 1 games this season and added five more in nine other competitions.
“Le Parisien” reports that Chelsea owner Todd Boehly met with PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi about Neymar’s transfer.
The report states that negotiations on possible transfer terms in the next transfer window have been held in Paris.
A fee of around €60m (€53m) has been discussed, although Neymar may have to deal with a large salary.
