Real Madrid will face another Premier League side in this season’s UEFA Champions League after being paired with Chelsea at the quarterfinal stage.
Carlo Ancelotti’s side cruised past Liverpool in the last 16 with a 6-2 aggregate win as Chelsea overcame a first-leg deficit to overcome Bundesliga giants Borussia Dortmund.
A last-eight meeting between the two sides will see Ancelotti return to his former club for the second consecutive season, following a roller-coaster quarter-final victory over the Blues in 2022.
