Ángel Di María has confirmed that he has left Juventus. Di María announced on Instagram that he had left the club.
The Argentine joined them last season on a one-year deal and has been one of their better players this season. He scored four goals in Serie A while also having four assists, three assists in the Champions League and four goals in the Europa League.
The World Cup winner posted the following on Instagram:
“The end of a difficult and complicated step has come. I leave with the peace of mind of someone who gave everything for the club to continue winning titles but it was not possible.
“I leave with such a sour taste that I wasn’t crowned, but lucky to have many friends in this amazing dressing room we’ve created.
“Thank you to all my teammates for so much support from day one, I always felt at home. A big shout out to everyone at Juventus for the support from the early days. Big hugs, I have you in my hearts.”
