Bayern Munich have made a second bid for Harry Kane to Tottenham Hotspur, according to Sky Sports journalist Florian Plettenberg.

After their original bid of €70m was rejected, Bayern have come back with an improved bid worth €80m guaranteed plus add-ons as they hope to land Kane, who is rumored to be keen on a move to Allianz Arena.

Kane is in the final year of his contract, but Tottenham have remained firm in their stance not to part with the Englishman, understandably so given he racked up 30 Premier League strikes last season, second only to Erling Haaland’s 36-goal haul.

Manchester United were previously linked with a move earlier in the window, but the Red Devils’ interest has since largely cooled as they now focus on landing Rasmus Hojlund from Serie A side Atalanta.

If Tottenham reject Bayern’s latest bid for Kane, it remains to be seen whet her the Bundesliga giants will come back with another bid after reports emerged that €100m could be too good for Spurs to turn down.

Bayern have earmarked other transfer targets such as Randal Kolo Muani and Dusan Vlahovic in case they fail to get a deal for Kane over the line.

After a rather disappointing campaign by their standards, where they needed a late winner from Jamal Musiala to secure the title, Thomas Tuchel’s men are expected to be quite active in the transfer market.

They have already secured the signings of Konrad Laimer and Raphael Guerreiro as free agents from RB Leipzig and Borussia Dortmund, respectively, while Kim Min-Jae is currently completing a move from Napoli.
