Ilkay Gundogan is already in Barcelona. The new signing for next season arrived in the city on Saturday and is ready to join training.
From there, they will fly to the United States on Wednesday for Barcelona’s four-match tour.
Until then, however, Gundogan’s unveiling as Barcelona’s new player will take place. The event will take place on Monday. There he will sign a new contract, wear a jersey for the first time and hold his first press conference.
Already dressed in the club’s kit, Gundogan sent a greeting to Azulgrana fans via Barcelona’s social media.
“I’m very happy to finally arrive in Barcelona. I hope we have a very lively season and I’m really looking forward to playing my first game,” said the German.
