Cristiano Ronaldo can potentially win his 1st trophy with Al Nassr this weekend as his side takes on Al Hilal in the Arab Club Champions Cup final 2023 at the King Fahd Stadium on Saturday.
Al Hilal finished third in the Saudi Pro League last season and have been quite impressive in recent months. The visitors got past Al Shabab by a comfortable score of 3-1 in their previous match and will be looking to achieve a similar scoreline this weekend.
Al Nassr, on the other hand, secured second place in the league table last season and have been inconsistent in the past year. The visitors beat Al Short to a narrow 1-0 win last week and will be confident ahead of this game.
Al-Hilal team news
Al-Hilal have arguably the strongest midfield of any side in the competition with Sergio Milinkovic-Savic and Ruben Neves in the middle. Kalidou Koulibaly will line up the defense with Brazilain Malcom leading the attack in a star-studded line-up.
The big mistake will be their first-choice goalkeeper Al-Maiouf, who was red-carded in the semi-final and ruled out of the final. Backup option Alwotayan is expected to take his place.
Al-Nassr team news
Al-Nassr looked at them. Sadio Mane was included in the starting line-up, completing the trio of Ronaldo-Talisca-Mane up front.
Seko Fofana and Marcelo Brozovic will have the task of starting in the midfield of Neves and Milinković-Savič.
Alex Telles is a big name in defense and the same back four has played almost every game since Telles joined, which should give them a cohesiveness advantage.
