Argentina players arrive for World Cup 2026 qualifiers, will train on Monday

Argentina’s internationals have started arriving for World Cup 2026 qualifiers as training starts on Monday.

A few Argentina national team players began arriving on Sunday with the majority arriving on Monday as the team begins training for their World Cup qualifier against Ecuador on Thursday. Enzo Fernandez arrived first, followed by Julian Alvarez.

Rodrigo De Paul, Ángel Correa, Alexis Mac Allister, Cuti Romero, Lisandro Martínez, Gonzalo Montiel, Alejandro Garnacho and Facundo Buonanotte also arrived on Monday.

The Argentine national team will train on Monday at 16:30 local time. According to Gustavo Yarroch, all but Lionel Messi, Lautaro Martínez, Diba Martínez, Nicolás González, Lucas Beltrán and Nicolás Tagliafico will train as they will arrive later tonight or tomorrow.

Lionel Scaloni’s side will play their first World Cup qualifier against Ecuador on Thursday, with their second game against Bolivia on September 12.
