The Argentina squad has been announced for October’s World Cup qualifiers and Ángel Di María is not included.
Ángel Di María missed the squad due to injury, but coach Lionel Scaloni made several changes to the squad called up for September’s World Cup qualifiers. Three players are called up for the first time and are expected to train with the youth team.
The coach of the Argentine national team called up Carlos Alcaraz from Southampton, Facundo Farías from Inter Miami and Marco Pellegrino from AC Milan. Paulo Dybala also returns, as does Lucas Martínez Quarta from Fiorentina.
