Cádiz will look to end their winless streak when they take on Carlo Ancelotti’s Real Madrid at home. The team in white rode with confidence and the home team will try to stop them when they meet on Sunday.
The home side are currently 16th in the league and look set for a long and intense relegation battle. Cádiz have won only two of their 12 matches and have collected only ten points so far. They have suffered six defeats and four of those have come in their last five games.
Their last league appearance was a 1-0 defeat by Getafe before the international break. They failed to create enough chances and ended up on the losing side. They have not won in their last five league games and will look to end that run when they face Madrid at home.
Meanwhile, Los Blancos have had a great start to the new season. They have lost just once so far and are currently second in the points table with 32 points from 13 matches. They are just two points behind league leaders Girona and will be looking to keep the pressure on for their 11th win of the season.
In their last game before the international break, Real Madrid crushed Valencia 5-1. It was a dominant display from the team in white as both Vinicius and Rodrygo scored braces. The visitors will be looking for a similar performance but it won’t be as easy as they are without several first team players. The Hard Tackle takes a closer look at both teams and tries to predict the tactics they might use.
