Wales take on Turkey at the Cardiff City Stadium on Tuesday in the final round of Euro 2024 qualifiers.
The hosts have had mixed results in the qualifiers so far and while they remain hopeful of direct qualification, they will have to rely on results elsewhere. They last played to a 1-1 draw against Armenia, falling behind just five minutes after kick-off before equalizing late in the first half with an own goal.
Wales are third in their group with 11 points from seven games. They will advance to the final tournament with a win on Tuesday, unless Croatia beat Armenia elsewhere.
Meanwhile, Turkey have secured a place in the group stage in Germany next year and are already looking forward to their third European Championship in a row. They beat Latvia 4-0 in their final group game, with three different players getting on the scoresheet in the second half, including Besiktas man Cenk Tosun, who fired in from the bench.
