club world cup

The 2023 FIFA Club World Cup will have a lot of attention in the Premier League as Manchester City bid for a first-ever World Cup title in Saudi Arabia.

City’s incredible treble at the end of the 2022/23 campaign saw Pep Guardiola finally lift the Champions League trophy in Manchester after years of frustration.

Despite the potential distraction of a mid-season trip to the Middle East, the prospect of another trophy is key for Guardiola, with Brazil’s Fluminense their main title rivals.

The FIFA Club World Cup 2023 will be held for 10 days from December 12 to December 22.

The competition kicks off with a first round match featuring Saudi Pro League champions Al Ittihad and OFC Champions League winners Auckland City on 12 December.
