The U.S. will host the Copa America in 2024 as part of its build-up to the 2026 FIFA World Cup, which will be co-hosted with neighbors Canada and Mexico.
The 2016 tournament was the USA’s first opportunity to host the competition after being invited again to compete in a combined competition involving CONCACAF and CONMEBOL nations.
The qualification picture will be confirmed in March 2024 as the final round of play-offs will add two final teams to the June tournament kick-off schedule.
When is the 2024 Copa America?
Copa America 2024 will kick off on June 20, 2024 with the final set for July 14.
Holders Argentina will feature at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atalanta to kick off the tournament after automatic placement in Group A.

Who has qualified for the 2024 Copa America?
A total of 16 teams will participate in Copa America 2024 (10 from CONMEBOL and six from CONCACAF) and the group stage will feature four groups of four teams each.
10 CONMEBOL teams have secured automatic qualification spots for the competition, along with four from CONCACAF, with the final two CONCACAF spots to be decided in a March 2024 playoff.
Canada will face Trinidad and Tobago and Costa Rica host Honduras in one-legged playoff matches that will confirm the last 16.

CONEMBOL are expected to announce more venues from the start of 2024 with just two stadiums confirmed at the time of writing (December 4, 2023):
Hard Rock Stadium

The Hard Rock Stadium has hosted plenty of international matches in the past, including a pre-World Cup friendly between Argentina and Honduras in September 2022 that drew over 64,000 fans. The stadium is also part of the group of venues on the schedule for the 2026 World Cup.
