Argentina’s under-23 team faces a battle for a place at the 2024 Summer Olympics in a mini-tournament organized by CONMEBOL in Venezuela.
All 10 CONMEBOL teams were divided into two groups, with the top two teams from each group qualifying for the next stage, where the top two teams from the second mini-league would qualify for the Olympics.
In the first round of matches, Argentina drew 1–1 with Paraguay and faced Group B leaders Peru on 24 January.
