Brazil Under-20 defender Lucas Beraldo has joined Paris St Germain from Sao Paulo after agreeing a five-year contract with the French champions.
Beraldo completed the move for a reported £17.36m after enjoying a breakthrough year in 2023, making 52 appearances for Sao Paulo.
The 20-year-old joined the club in 2020, started for the under-17s and made his first-team debut two years later.
“I am really happy to join such an ambitious club as Paris St Germain,” Beraldo told PSG’s website.
“It’s an important step in my career and one that will help me move forward. I can’t wait to get to know my new teammates and take my first steps in this jersey.”
PSG are currently top of the Ligue 1 table and are five points above Nice as they chase a third consecutive title.
