Cameroon opened their AFCON 2024 campaign against Guinea on January 15 in Yamoussoukro.
Rigobert Song’s team have been drawn in Group C at the tournament, where defending champions Senegal, Guinea and Gambia will face each other.
Cameroon and Senegal have been tipped to secure the two automatic qualification spots from the group and Song’s side are the dark horses to advance in the competition in the coming weeks.

Manchester United goalkeeper Andre Onana is expected to start after being granted permission to delay joining Song’s squad. Napoli star Andre-Frank Zambo Anguissa is a standout name in midfield with captain Vincent Aboubakar leading the charge.
Guinea will be managed by ex-Liverpool midfielder Naby Keita, with Serhou Guirassy from the Bundesliga leading the attack. The VfB Stuttgart forward will be one to watch at the tournament amid growing transfer links to Manchester United after scoring 17 Bundesliga goals so far this season.
