India vs Syria Possible Starting lineups for AFC Asian Cup 2024

India will take on Syria in their final AFC Asian Cup group game on January 23, with both sides fighting for a place as one of the top third-placed teams.

Australia and Uzbekistan are on course to secure two automatic places in the round of 16 from Group B and Syria are in a position to join them if they avoid defeat in this match.

Team news

India are yet to score a goal at the tournament and they will look to add some more firepower into their ranks with Brandon Fernandes set to start in attack.

Uzbekistan are without key player Eldor Shomurodov at the tournament with former Al Nassr winger Jaloliddin Masharipov and Abbosbek Fayzullaev the standout names.

India (4-5-1): G. Singh (GK) — Poojari, Jhingan, Bheke, Mishra — M. Singh, Wangjam, Fernandes, Ralte, Naorem — Chhetri.

Syria (4-4-2): Madania (GK) — Oues, Ousou, Krouma, Ajan — Al Aswad, Elias, Ham, Ramadan — Sabbag, Hesar.
