Argentina match schedule for 2024, including Copa America

Lionel Messi and Argentina will focus on defending their Copa America title in 2024 as they compete in the CONMEBOL Championship in the United States this coming summer. Their opponent for the opening game of the tournament has yet to be determined as Canada and Trinidad and Tobago must face off in a playoff qualifier to secure a place in Group A.

Argentina must also continue to navigate a competitive 2026 World Cup qualifying tournament, sitting top of the table but under pressure from a resurgent Uruguay and Colombia.

La Albiceleste will face Guatemala in Washington six days before the Copa America kicks off on June 20. Messi and co will also take part in two international friendlies in the United States in March.

They will face El Salvador in Philadelphia on March 23 and face Costa Rica in Los Angeles three days later. Africa Cup of Nations winners Nigeria were originally scheduled for the second leg but pulled out due to visa issues.
