Messi has reached a new milestone. The World Cup winner has now scored a goal every year since 2005, with three different clubs.

In 2005, Lionel Messi scored his first goal for FC Barcelona against Albacete. In 2006 it was against Athletic Club.

In 2007 he scored his first goal against Real Madrid and in 2008 it was in the UEFA Champions League against Celtic. In 2009 it was back in La Liga and against Atlético Madrid.

In 2010 it was against Tenerife and in 2011 against Deportivo de La Coruña. In 2012 it was Osasuna and in 2013 against Espanyol. In 2015, his first goal was against Elche and in 2016 it was against Espanyol.

2017 was the same team as 2006, against Athletic Club. In 2018 it was Levante, in 2019 Getafe and in 2020 Atletico Madrid.

In 2021, he would score his last goal of the new year with FC Barcelona, ​​against Athletic Club. In 2022, for the first time with Paris Saint-Germain, Messi scored his first goal of the year against Lille and in 2023 against Angers.
