Arsenal’s games against Chelsea are typically wild local derbies, but the 2023/24 Premier League fixture at the Emirates Stadium is likely to hold special significance for the Arsenal’ title hopes.
Arsenal find themselves top of the table after 28 games, their dramatic win over Brentford coming a day before title rivals Liverpool and Man City played out a 1-1 draw at Anfield.
They were due to host Chelsea in North London on 16 March. In the reverse fixture at Stamford Bridge last October, Arsenal came back from two goals down to draw 2-2, so hopes are high that this final game could provide plenty of drama.
Why was Arsenal vs Chelsea postponed?
The match has been moved due to the FA Cup quarter-final being played on the same weekend (March 16-17). Arsenal are no longer in the competition, having been knocked out by Liverpool in the third round in January, but Chelsea are due to face Leicester City at Stamford Bridge on March 17.
