The Spaniard is in charge of the Bundesliga leaders Leverkusen and has been linked with Liverpool and Bayern Munich.
Bayer Leverkusen manager Xabi Alonso has committed his future to the Bundesliga leaders for next season to quash talk of a possible summer move to Liverpool or Bayern Munich.
The 42-year-old former Liverpool midfielder has led Leverkusen to an unbeaten season as they boast a ten-point lead over announced suitors Bayern, while Liverpool have also been linked with the Spaniard in their search to succeed outgoing manager Jurgen Klopp.
But Xabi Alonso said in his press conference on Friday: “This is the right place for me. I will stay at Bayer.”
