Massimiliano Allegri can pick up one last piece of silverware before he leaves Juventus this summer.
Juventus will face Atalanta for the Coppa Italia title at the Estadio Olimpico in Rome on Wednesday 15 May. If Juventus win, it will be their first silverware since winning the Coppa Italia in 2021, also against Atalanta.
For Atalanta, it would be their first national title since 1963, meaning it would be remembered for generations in the Bergamo region of northern Italy.
Juve, who have no European competition this season, have fared better in the league, currently in fourth place, good enough for next season’s UEFA Champions League spot and an improvement on last year’s seventh-place finish. But compared to their rivals in Inter Milan and AC Milan, it still falls short.
