The European Golden Shoe is awarded annually to the top goalscorer in league matches across the top divisions of European national leagues.
Last season, Erling Haaland took over from Robert Lewandowski as the Norwegian netted 36 goals in 35 games to play a key role in Manchester City’s treble.
Hot on Haaland’s heels were Harry Kane and Kylian Mbappe, who are both competing at the top of this year’s table.
