Lionel Messi will become a free agent on June 30 and over the last few days, the rumor mill has been coming out with various reports. Nonetheless, FC Barcelona continues to play the waiting game for La Liga to give them the green light.
Spanish journalist Anaïs Martí Herrero reported on Thursday that Barcelona believe they will eventually sign him if Messi continues to wait for them.
However, another report revealed that Al-Hilal’s offer to Messi has expired, leaving the Argentine to decide on his future at the end of the 2022-23 season.
PSG manager Christophe Galtier has confirmed that Messi’s final game with the French giants will take place at the Parc des Princes against Clermont Foot on Saturday.
Although the main club wanted to do damage control by brushing aside Galtier’s remarks.
