Germany have announced their squad for June’s friendlies against Ukraine (Bremen), Poland (Warsaw) and Colombia (Gelsenkirchen).
Antonito Rüdiger, Julian Brandt, Ilkay Gündogan and Jonas Hofmann return after missing the March international. While Robin Gosens and Benjamin Henrichs return to the lineup after longer absences. Gosens last played for Germany in September 2022 when he came off the bench in Germany’s 3–3 draw with England. While Henrichs last played in Germany’s 1-1 draw with Italy in 2022.
There are no new names called up in the squad, with only Malick Thiaw, Marius Wolf and Kevin Schade returning to the squad, who were first called up by the players in March.
Notable omissions from the squad include Serge Gnabry and Niklas Süle, who were key in Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund’s Bundesliga title campaigns.
