The England midfielder is understood to have agreed a five-year deal with the Old Trafford club.
Manchester United have agreed a deal for England midfielder Mason Mount for an initial £55m from Chelsea, the PA news agency understands.
The Red Devils will pay a further £5m depending on performances and success.
The 24-year-old is understood to have agreed a five-year deal with an option for a further year.
While previous reports claimed the transfer fell through, Manchester United have now reached an agreement to sign the midfielder in a deal worth up to £60m.
Erik ten Hag’s side were said to have shifted toward prioritising a move for Brighton’s Moisés Caicedo after seeing their initial bids for Mount rejected.
However, after further discussions, the Chelsea academy product will now undergo his medical and finalise personal terms with United.
Mount departs with 195 appearances and 33 goals for the Blues since his first-team debut in 2017.
