Slovakia will face Ukraine at the Düsseldorf Arena on Friday in their second match of the UEFA Euro 2024 group stage. Slovakia won their opening campaign 1-0 against Belgium on Monday, while Ukraine fell 3-0 to Romania.
A win in this match will help the Falcons secure a place in the top two in the Group E table, while it’s a must-win game for the Blues and Yellows, who face off in their final group stage match next week.
The Falcons caused the first major upset at the tournament, the only goal of the match was scored by Sparta Prague striker Ivan Schranz in the seventh minute against Belgium. They also kept just their second clean sheet at the European Championships and will be looking to build on that form.
