After a disappointing few seasons in LaLiga, Eden Hazard may be heading back to the Premier League next term.
Hazard has played 65 games for Real Madrid since arriving before the 2019-2020 season but has not played more than 25 minutes in a league game since playing in late January against Elche.
Fighting poor form and injury, Real Madrid are reportedly planning to loan out the Belgian winger next season, with one Premier League club jumping ahead of the line-up.
If Real Madrid loanes Hazard, Foot Mercato reports that Arsenal are the club that is most in demand.
According to the report, Real Madrid’s plan is to loan out the former Chelsea player for the 2022-23 season, with the aim of increasing his pre-season sales target for the 2023-24 season, with one year left on his contract.
Arsenal used the same tactic to acquire Martin Odegaard last season, loaning him to Meringues in January before signing him for a transfer of 35 million euros seven months later.
It is noteworthy that a Foot Mercato report also reveals that Hazard is not interested in leaving the Spanish club after this season, and may be willing to cancel his entire contract.
